I am currently learning Japanese using the self-teaching method because unfortunately there aren't any courses available to me. I learn from many books I have purchased, the library, internet, and a the very few other sources available to me. I'm not a teacher or anything close to one, so if you can get real lessons it would be a good idea to take them unless you have a busy schedule or you wish to save your money. This site's purpose is to help the people desperate enough to learn Japanese from a kid. =P I hope it's useful for you. I update as often as I can so check in every few days.
My name is Indelible Alchemist (Really, I'm not kidding =P) and I live in Canada. I love Japanese culture (before I discovered anime) which got me into learning the language. I plan on living in Japan and teaching English (every anime otakus' dream) for the first few years, then maybe moving on to something else. I might just end up moving back to Canada and teaching at an elementary school. I'm a huge Fullmetal Alchemist fan! =D Alphonse rules!!!
